Secrid has created a collection of wallets inspired by Dutch masterpieces from the Mauritshuis in The Hague, a small but world-renowned museum with a vast collection of Dutch artworks from the age of Rembrandt and Vermeer.
Vermeer's "The Girl with a Pearl Earring" (c. 1665) painting is one the most iconic works of the Dutch Masters. He was the master of light. This is shown in the softness of the girl’s face and the shimmer of light on her moist lips. And of course the pearl, consisting only of a few masterfully placed brushstrokes, which takes center stage on the supple Italian calf leather wallet.
The "Miniwallet" by Secrid is a Red Dot award-winning, RFID-safe (cards can't be "hacked") wallet designed and produced in Holland. Compact and safe, yet stylish and spacious, it is easy to see why Secrid wallets are becoming one of the most popular worldwide. The "Miniwallet" has a buckle closure, whereas its brother (the "Slimwallet") does not feature a buckle.
This limited edition wallet is available at Glebe Trotters.
